A fabulous walk from Pitton, E of Salisbury, to the ruins of medieval Clarendon Palace. The first part is on the long distance Clarendon Way path that runs from Winchester to Salisbury, and returns via an alternative route around and through arable fields and woodland.

I forgot to add to my submission that there are inquisitive and friendly llamas in the field that surrounds Clarendon Palace. Dogs must be kept on lead there! -

This is now definitely one of my favourite walks. Beautiful scenery, plenty of off lead, running around time and to top it off it pretty much starts and finishes at the Silver Plough at Piiton who serve amazing food and a lovely pint. -

Lovely walk but we went off route and ended up doing 8miles , a shame the dog had to be in the lead the whole way, flat route, we enjoyed but not sure where we went wrong
