About this walk

A beautiful walk along the river Severn with farm land all around. The parking is on the narrow lane in the form of makeshift lay-bys, however there is rarely more than 1 or 2 cars there. I suggest keeping your dog on a lead until you get through the gate. Go up the track and bear left and keep walking! I've walked about 4 miles before turning round and heading back, I'm not sure how far it's possible to go, many more miles I assume. There's plenty of access to the river for hot and thirsty dogs. It's incredibly quiet, I've rarely encountered more than 1 or 2 other walkers, with lots of wildlife such as pheasants, rabbits and even a hate or 2.

Only managed 1.5miles due to being overgrown in parts of the walk

If your at the church just follow the fence and you should come to a metal gate and then just follow the river. Hope you have fun xx

Some parts are quite dense in terms of growth, but they are passable. Currently ( September 2021) would not recommend shorts if you are walking beyond the the first field after the church.
