From the quarry you can walk in various directions. Along the common, up on to the malvern hills (an area of outstanding beauty) and along the ridge or over towards Eastnor Castle and in to the grounds. The views from the hills are wonderful and many paths are frequented by many a friendly dog walkers and their dogs. My dog loves to swim in the quarry and its a great place to return to after your walk and have a picnic. There is a cottage beside the quarry which is open usually weekends and other times during the summer that serves lovely snacks and drinks. There are many walks in this area- you could walk along the ridge to the Herefordshire beacon (British Camp)or even further to the Worcestershire Beacon where you can descend to a lovely tea room at St Ann's Well (toilets too!).
To walk along the entire ridge of the hills is about 9 miles and Gullet Quarry is about 1 mile from the south end.
The walks can be as short or as long as you like -but do make sure you wear suitable footwear - preferably walking boots. A map would be useful for the more adventurous but not essential!

Please DO NOT walk here the quarry is incredibly dangerous it has been permanently fenced off for a reason there is still machinery underwater it is incredibly cold and every year until it was fenced off an average of 3 people died a year here, I know this as I live in Malvern, it may seem inviting by the pictures but it is now against the law to enter, to the website admins please remove this from your list please
