About this walk

Lovely walk away from the hustle and bustle of its busier neighbour Blackpool.

Lots of free parking in a number of free car parks and promenade parking.

Take a natural route up a small hill away from Fleetwood leisure centre. Come back down and cross the road to walk along a path adjacent to a small pitch and putt golf course, follow the grasses area to a small water park (dependent on how busy or quiet it is will instigate whether your pooch can go off lead). Follow the path around the water (extend to the second section of water if you want a longer walk). Go over the bridge and onto the Fleetwood promenade. Low tide equals a happy off the lead section. Follow the promenade back to the pitch and putt green. NB put your dog on the lead around the marina and return to your car.

We walk our dogs on Fleetwood prom and beach daily. We have 3 large breeds and they swim, run and play with all the dogs there. There are area's that your dog must be on lead, especially around the marina hall and swimming baths. Absolutely recommend here for an off lead experience for you and your beautiful dogs. Spring and summer are stricter rules on your dogs on lead though. Also, be aware, there are council members handing out fines if rules are not abided by. I.e. No dogs on the little golf courses. Plenty of poo bins on the sea wall walks, make sure you have enough bags, but there is always people who have spare if you are short. Great people with great dogs and tones of free parking. Just enjoy and walk straight through Cleveleys to Blackpool if you have the energy.
