About this walk

Great woodland walk in the Fylde.

The walk was created by Lytham St Annes Civic Society volunteers in 1974 and officially opened by the Duke of Edinburgh.

Entrance is slightly hidden just off Bridge rd and is split into two woodland areas. Very popular with locals and if you travel the whole way down it will take you to many options. Turn left and you have Lytham Hall, turn right and you have Lytham town. If you just fancy a quick drink and turning back around there’s the railway station pub. We walked to the town and back. All flat terrain. Within the woods our pooch was off lead for 90% of the time chasing squirrels and investigating new smells and it took us approx 1hr 30 (our pooch likes to go slow 👍🏼)

Very enjoyable walk. Bit of a hidden gem to be honest

Nice walk but very short. More of a short cut into Lytham

Great walk. Met some other dogs on the way. Dogs can be off lead. And if your lucky you might see some squirrels

Loved it, off-lead opportunities in the woods.
