About this walk
Chorley's Yarrow Valley Country Park is a 700-acre facility.
There is plenty of space to stretch both yours and your dogs legs. It’s your decision as to how long you spend there as there’s many options to be made.
There is a lovely nature reserve as well as multiple woodland pathways that you could go on an adventure with your pooches both on lead and (if well behaved) off lead.
It gets busy on the weekends with lots of couples, friends and families enjoying picnics near the lakes.
It’s a very dog friendly park close to the town of Chorley with free parking available at the café/information centre.

This wasn't as dog-friendly as the description...we couldn't find anywhere where dogs were "allowed" off the lead. It was a lovely walk nonetheless but more map would have helped a lot! -
