Fantastic walk ... off lead walking the whole time. Plenty of other walkers with dogs but apart from that free of any livestock, bonus. -

Great walk, some parts are quite hilly. Don’t forget your wellies as it can get very muddy! -

Absolutely perfect place to walk dogs. We found this place from this website and we had such an amazing time today. At times it feels like an adventure, the beauty of the place is unreal. Then to top it off there is an amazing pub called the royal arm. Where you can get warm in front of the fire with a pint. The staff are lovely and dogs are allowed. All in all, wonderful place and now in my top 5 dog walking spots in the north west. -

Great dog walk. Been living in Lancashire for 12 years and only just visited this gem. Will become a avid visitor in the future. Thanks for posting it -

Great walk. Even managed it on my own with the dog and baby in our jogging buggy (Out'N'About Nipper Sport). The terrain was a bit challenging at some points but I just had to go a lot slower. Halfway around I had to take the back wheels off and throw them over the other side to squeeze through a skinny gate but apart from that it was a good walk the whole way. It has a LOT of hilly parts, some very steep and the route to the exit is all up-hill, which was erm, fun I guess - pushing a 33lb 15m old up, but I now have buns of steel so win win! Dog loved it. Think she will sleep for days now. -

Beautiful walk. Met some dog walkers along the way. No livestock which is always a plus. Free parking just across the road. Many different routes to walk so can take a new one each time. -

Excellent walk with many different routes to choose from. We were walking 3 hours and could let the dogs off pretty much all the way. No animals on route. We will come again -

Great for long walks with lots of open spaces and chances to be off the lead. -
