We love the spot for walking as a family. Park in the laybys on Paper Mill Lane (if they’re all full then you can go back to the high street and park then walk back down). Head west and turn onto the footpath on the left before the river. There are lots of ways to loop this walk so if you have a footpath app it’s ideal. The shortest version is to walk straight on until you can turn right on the footpath and then circle back on the other side of the river. If you keep going you can circle back (using the lanes a little) at latchford. There are cows in the fields often over the summer months, but it’s still fine to have dog on leads. When the weather is fine it’s great for dogs and children to play in the river.

Love it here could walk for hours just exploring the old railway and the small river.
