Down by the river beane just outside of aston end there is a great walk that goes either way. You could reach this from walking from stevenage and stop off in the crown pub. The walk runs alongside the river which is sometimes dried out.
Parking is minimal unless you park up at the community centre in aston or on the edge of road next to the river.
This is not circular but allows dogs to run up and down alongside the river dipping in and out to suit them.

Could I park at the crown pub and walk from there along the river, as would be nice to stop at the pub along the way too and I know parking there is decent. Thanks -

Nothing fancy, I probably wouldn’t make the effort to drive there again but glad we tried it! Just field after field.
