Beautiful walk with a nice country walk. You have to pay for parking, but it is a lovely day out once you get past the 2 initial lakes

No access to either lake for dogs. The main entry point to the river is in the family picnic area and you’re not welcome with a dog there. Found a couple of spots for him to jump in the river to cool down, but not worth the £6 for three hours parking I paid. I won’t go back -

Past the two lakes there is some rivers for the dogs to go in which are long and clean. Dont let your dog in the lakes as blue agea. water is not clean. -

You went to the wrong river. The other river is secluded with lots of entry points -
