About this walk

This is a lovely walk, it's very open although there are some wooded areas. I have never seen it crowded even on a warm summer Sunday. Some of it is cow field so for those parts it's best to have your dog on a lead although there are no signs up urging you to do this. If you want to walk further you can follow the river Stort for miles, (a number of pubs on route). Within the actual park there are some rolling hills so I'm not sure about wheel chair access. There is a railway track which is not fenced off across the river and along the far edge of the park, but you don't really have to go anywhere near this.

Beautiful walk! Dogs=happy , 5 year old=happy , mummy=happy! Will return regularly!

We have been coming here for the past 3 months and think it's amazing. There is plenty of open space and open fields including wood areas and the river.. all areas have cast iron gates to keep your dogs safe inside.. there is also an enclosed space for anyone who struggled with recall. 90 percent of dogs are off lead running up and down the fields.. really nice safe walking area.. highly recommended... MAKE SURE YOU TAKE YOUR WELLIES ITS VERY MUDY.. cows are kept out of the fields until May so plenty of time
