About this walk

A beautiful walk, through woods & fields, with the most beautiful little beach area with a gorgeous pond that the dogs can run through, it really is very special, you can follow the path over the ford where there is a lovely dog friendly pub have a drink & walk back, there are cows occasionally in the field, although they seem to be very used to people walking through.

Had intended to take the dog and kids on a long, exhausting walk. Once we managed to park, we all bailed out and started our walk. Very quickly we came across the river with a small beach area. Dog and kids spent the next hour playing in the water!

A beautiful area that was calm, with a few nice passers by, lovely views and plenty of places for the dogs to splash and play.

Nice walk but ended early as my dog couldn't get over the wooden stopover on the bridge.

Loved this walk, pretty views of rolling fields, wooded area and streams. Sign posts clear to follow with private land easy to identify too. Doggies loved it!

There is only space for two cars to park on the road and both spaces were occupied, so we had to turn back home. I wish someone had mentioned the lack of parking so I didn't waste the time attempting to visit, it's an area best enjoyed by those who live there.
