Eastville Park is a large grassed park with loads of open space to play fetch or enjoy a picnic. There's a children's playground and some football pitches laid out.
You can park via Park Avenue off of Oakdene Ave and parking is free (although only around 20 spaces).
You can walk from Eastville down to a lovely pond/lake and then follow the path along the River Frome. Along this route you can walk to Fishponds or to Snuff Mills which is also a lovely dog walk in itself.
There's some woodland areas along the route, lots of entry points into the river for a dog swim and some picnic benches/areas. There's no farm animals along the route but the pond near Eastville Park has lots of ducks and swans.
