About this walk
Found this a few years ago with my late husband and now go there with my daughter. Together we have for dogs. Easy walking with a few tracks off to the sides. It was only by chance that we found out it has an old chimney there. It is called the Smitham Chimney and was used many years ago for smelting lead and zinc. It is almost surrounded by water. Beautiful array of trees and flora abound.
