This is a national trust site, there is a designated car park and a number of facilities. If you are driving then you enter in from the A592 and down the lane towards the car park and visitor centre. This is on the South East side of Lake Windermere and can be very popular so I would recommend planning you visit prior and arriving early especially due peak seasons such as bank holiday, or school holidays. Once in the park there is a number of walks available and it is very picturesque with the boathouse and when the boats are on the lake, and has a number of routes available. Alternatively if you fancy a long walk you can park at Gummers How Car Park and walk across the road and down the hill towards the park and lake.
