You can follow the path or venture across the marsh to the beach. There are well trodden paths out to the beach at low tide as well. It has views across the bay and the peninsula. The bay view garden centre cafe (the potting shed) has a dog friendly section undercover and the garden centre is dog friendly with a small seating area at the back.

Easy to find somewhere to park here, we had a picnic on a bench overlooking the sea. There is plenty of water crossing the well worn paths but they're a little hidden on occasion so be careful! The dog was very muddy afterwards so she was very happy!!!

Lovely walk. Be prepared water dog owners lots of water baths for your pooch to frolic in -

This is the perfect place to walk if you have a reactive dog because it’s flat and you can see approaching dogs giving you the chance to get your on the lead

past hest bank and into Bolton -le-sands, follow the signs to bay view garden centre. If you continue down the road you will come to a small parking area across from this horse pastures.
