Beacon Fell is a great off lead dog walking area - especially for dogs that love woods and exploring. The circular walk from the main car park takes around 40 mins but diversions up and down the hill can create a good 60/90 min walk. Never too muddy as well drained. Main paths quite well maintained with loose stones but can be less stable under foot 'off piste'. Great views in all directions and never busy away from the main visitors centre. -

Lots of paths to chose from with open areas for dogs to explore. Can be busy on nice days but various car parks to chose from on the one way system.
