Fantastic views across several counties as you walk along the crest of the hill though quite often sheep grazing in this area. As you get toward the end of the crest of hill before the fence turn left to drop down the hill toward the wood on the sign footpath.
The path goes through the wood with steeps and then goes back up the hill back toward the topography and the car park. Nice circular walk with varying views though can be a bit strenuous.

Lovely place to walk. Went there this afternoon with my 2 golden retrievers and we walked along the crest of the hill to the end, dipped down to the left towards the woods, then back along and up, which took around 40 minutes (including chatting to various folk along the way, who stopped to admire my 6 month old pup!). Because it was sunny, there were quite a few people around and the car park was pretty full. Quite family oriented too, so if it's a nice day at the weekend there will be young children around - worth knowing if you have an over-excitable pup who wants to run up to everyone he sees. He'll learn soon - I hope. I'd never heard of this place before, and as it's only 20 minutes drive from home, will definitely be going again. Thanks for the tip, K9DPR! -

Nice on lead walk to get there from bottom of the hill, or a good car park at the top. Off the lead field with good views but plenty of run around space for the dogs. Can have it times busy and not so busy. But generally great walk and chance for dogs and kids to kill some energy 😁
