About this walk
Drive through the village of Newton to the beach... and park on Beach Road or the Car Park. Walk from the slip along the sand/pebble beach for about two miles to the river mouth near Ogmore. You can come off the beach and return along the grass/sandy path above.
Dogs are allowed on this beach throughout the year and it is a very safe and popular spot for off lead walking.
The two pubs in the village are dog friendly and there is a café on the seafront (closed in winter).

Fantastic beach that allows dogs all year round. Limited parking but never a problem even in summer. -

Fantastic little walk, one of the few beaches available to dogs year round. This does mean it is a little busy, especially around the summer months. If you have a nervous dog, I would avoid peak times.
