About this walk

A beautiful marked walk through trees around this quiet reservoir. Ideal for gentle strolls for the quieter dog or places to run and splash for the more active ones. You can park for free in the designated car parks at the top and bottom of the lower reservoir. The toilets are boarded up unfortunately. It is probably easiest to park in the car park on the A476, although that leaves a walk down the hill to the reservoir.

Have just done this walk. Despite the rain it was lovely, plenty of cover under the trees to keep dry.

Dog loved it, lots of places to explore and streams to paddle in. Carpark at the bottom is blocked off but there is space for a couple of cars at the Link →
Met a few other dog walkers but was not Link →
Was a hour leisurely walk pass the tower, up the left hand side and back down the same way looked a bit muddy on the opposite side).

Lovely walk both sides of reservoir. one side is forest path and the other side is tarmac,with paths down to water for dogs excellent

Lovely place to walk… a bit muddy so wear good shoes. Myself and the dog loved it! Would definitely recommend. Needs more dog waste bins though.
