About this walk
There are several routes you can take once at the beacon. You can either walk across the fields to the viewing point, this walk is fairly flat. You can also walk in the woods which has several paths to take ranging from a short easy pace to a longer hilly path.
Dogs are allowed off the lead.
There is also sometimes a catering van in the carpark which you can buy hot drinks and ice creams from.
It's a beautiful area which looks over the Stroud valleys, I have often seen deer grazing in the valley of the woods.
