About this walk

Large forest with forestry tracks, clearings, woods and ponds. Plenty of forestry tracks for walking, but may need wellies/walking boots in the winter or rainy days as can get very muddy very quick! Great for off lead however the woods are open to horse riders and cyclists. The car park is free but small and can sometimes be full.

About 400 yards to the east of the main carpark is a smaller off road parking area that can be used. The forest spreads to the south of Bramshill Road as well adding more places to walk.

Really nice walks, so many trails to follow but NO POO BINS (or any bins). Horses, cyclists and Dog walkers have huge area to explore.

Nice walk. Quite busy for parking at weekends. Endless woods and paths though to get lost in and nice pond and stream.

Lovely 2 mile walk but a shame there are no dog poo bins anywhere. Meant there was a lot of dog poo left around, in addition to the copious amounts of horse poo on the paths. An enjoyable walk for me and the dog but would have been a different story had my young children been with me.
