About this walk
Highcliffe Castle is a lovely place to walk your dogs, there is access to woods, a dog friendly beach and a café for afterwards. You can do a short walk in the grounds, maybe add on the woods that can be accessed from the castle garden. We do the long walk either along the Sandy beach towards Mudeford or we take one of paths that wind their way along towards the shops at Highcliffe. Although usually busy this is a delightfully rural location with great views across to the needles on a clear day. Our dogs love the dog friendly bays which are clearly marked.
