There is a choice of either crossing from the back of the car park down on to the path (which can be muddy until you reach the path) or alternatively leaving via the car park on to Furzley Lane and walking west towards Fritham for 0.3 miles and entering the walk via the path entrance from the road. If crossing at the back there is a horse track (which can be quite muddy if churned up) to follow (about 150m) or you can simply cut directly across via the forest (about 100m)

If crossing from back of car park, they will get muddyWeather = suitable for all weather conditionsViews = the entire walk is within a wood so there are no views other than the wood!Parking is free in Longcross car Park but there are no facilities there.
