Just been on this little ramble. Dogs loved it. We took a while to suss out finding the pathway. Once parked walk down the hill towards the railway line. Here you can either walk the road to the signs for brambridge or take the left along the river. We walked the river first then popped I to brambridge garden centre. Walked right out of the entrance along the footpath...stopped at the dog and crook for refreshments then back along the main road too allbrook. Lovely walk

Fabulous walk on a hot day, the riverside stretch is so inviting for a splash and swim! Recommend parking near 72 Pitmore Road (SO50 4LW) for direct access to the circular route which is waymarked with orange directional signs. Pics with route: Link →

Through woods first, that have a lot of scope for further exploration. Across field to access Itchen Navigation. Beautiful clear water with some access areas for dogs.
