About this walk

A short 2.5k trail around the Lido, flat path throughout, suitable for pushchairs (and probably wheelchairs but maybe only motorised or for people being pushed) The trail sees everything from fields to woods to (man-made) beach. There's a dedicated area for dogs to go in for a dip. During the summer and specific times in winter there's a cafe to buy ice creams or coffees. If your dog is part-fish like mine and would like to go in the water check the website first as earlier this year they were advising not to allow dogs in due to a Blue Algae outbreak. They did have signs up to warn you also. Free parking for Hillingdon Residents (Hillingdon First Card) payable Parking for everyone else.

I visited this walk after I saw it on this site. It isn't a long walk but it has everything - a picnic area at the front, a woodlands walk that you can walk through with a pram and a section of the beach for dogs!

Nice walk with my 2 massive German Shepherds, friendly people, lovely little spots for rest and picnic tables.

If you are not a resident of Hillingdon, then minimum charge is £8.50 to park. thats plenty to park, although the dog beach is very handy and the water is cleanish.
