Vast grasssland area by The River Thames where dogs can dip in the safe shallow water. We stayed watching boasts passing by and our dogs enjoyed dip to cool down on a sunny day there are gates in between the fields but dogs can stay off leads on the side of the Cock Marsh. I was told you can park on the side of Nature reserve.

In most nature reserves, it's kindly requested to keep dogs on a lead at all times. Allowing dogs to roam off-lead can create issues or cause distress to livestock and wildlife.
If you see other visitors, please put your dog on lead whilst you are walking near them. Nature reserves are for the benefit of wildlife and frequently host educational visits.
Some nature reserves have dog poo bins, but if you can’t find one please take the waste home with you.
