Lovely surprise to have such beautiful scenery. We parked behind Tylerstown Welfare Hall and walked in between the MUGA and park to a little entrance which led downhill towards the river. Its a little steep and not great to get back up with flip flops on ! Advisable to keep dogs on lead at this point as small children are running around... once down by the river it is much quieter and there are plenty of beautiful places to stop and sit for a while - shallow and deep places in river - great for throwing stones and watching your dog dive in after them.

Fantastic walk along the river toward Ferndale and then over the road bridge and back along the other side of the river. Lots of access points to the river along the way for dogs to paddle .
