This is a lovely part of The New Forest with lawns and rivers and ancient woodland and gravel tracks. It's a great place to play games with your dogs, explore the lovely scenery and test out your recall training. There are wild ponies, cattle and sometimes even pigs running free, but it is a very popular dog walking area so they are very used to people and dogs. The car park is near the little cricket ground.

More of a ramble than a walk, paths are defined through use rather than actual paths. Passing through woods and grasslands there is lots to explore and see. There is also a stream and small bridge about 20mins in that acts as good land mark. A nice walk for a bit of an explore. -

Perfect for a family wander with the hound....6 adults 5 kids 3 dogs and a lot of mud ! I would highly recommend a change of clothes for the kids during winter months for when you get back to the car, especially of like our lot they like puddle jumping, and a towel for the dog. -

Lovely walk. Very wet in winter! The river running through is magical. You can walk for miles and miles! -
