The beach is a mixture of pebbles, sand and seaweed. I recommend starting at the yacht club, walking along the beach in the opposite direction to pier then scrabbling up a little path to the cliff top. The cliff top is where locals tend to walk their dogs, so you’ll do a lot of meeting and greeting. Once you’re up there, turn right and follow the footpath all the way along and down and you’ll end back at the yacht club.
Best to look up tide times before you go as the water comes right in!
