About this walk

Very long walk, perfect for a family walk or where you just want some peace tonight from your dogs! they will defiantly sleep well! I have walked it alone however it is quite a quiet walk and through the woods so i would advise taking a friend

Walk through around 10 fields woods, its a dog heaven!!

We did this walk with our dogs today! Many other people walking their dogs there too so lots of other dogs to play with! You literally can go for miles if you want to. Will definitely be going again!

Went up there last week. Fabulous walk however they are in the process of building a lot of houses up on the fields. Large areas fenced off so still safe enough although some traffic of heavy vehicles between sites but well marked and so easy to avoid. Sadly though a large portion of the fields are no longer walkable 😔 and once residents are in place not sure how much the geography will change. Get up there whilst you still can!

Went to do this walk and the developers have effectively cut off all access to this walk. The foot paths are rerouted and made impossible to use, big deep pools prevent access. The developer should be made to repair the damage done and fined for their disregard for public footpaths.

I know, I kept meaning to update this listing. It's heartbreaking isn't it.

Building work still happening but if you enter at an entrance near morrisons you can get through the woods and away from the ugliness of new housing
