About this walk

Clanger and Picket Woods is a great walk for all the family. It's a large woodland area, with a big path right up the middle of the two woods (either side).

There are dens that have been made by families, a small stream running through and areas of evergreen and deciduous trees, and lot's of paths through, making this walk pretty and interesting. At the back of the woods are fields with footpaths along them to give dogs of all breeds an interesting walk and run.

The car park is free and goes straight onto the walk.

This is a popular walk at the weekends and can get quite busy.

Jan - this is very muddy and churned up at the moment.

Really lovely walk. Mostly flat, great for the pup to have a run off lead, wasn't busy at all. We really enjoyed it 🙂

A lovely walk, but beware of lack of fencing near the road as there are plenty of wildlife running free. Not a great deal of parking

Appalled by the amount of excrement left all over this otherwise lovely wood. What is wrong with people?
