There are plenty of different places to walk in Myrtle Park. You can stick close to the cafe and child's play areas and do an on-lead walk, which is paved and wheelchair friendly, or you can explore the fields and woodland and let your dog run free.
There's a bridge crossing the river that you can take to extra fields and a small (and usually muddy!) forest, or you can stroll past the allotments over another bridge and visit the ford. If you cross the ford you walk up to Harden way. There are also plenty of routes that will take you close to St Ives estate in case you fancy a bigger walk.
