About this walk
Hirst Wood is a decent sized forest that runs along the canal between Bingley and Saltaire. There is enough room for off-lead exercise, one entrance has it's own car park, and there are plenty of places where thirsty dogs can grab a drink. One path does take you close to a train track, so exploration is needed first to make sure it's safe for your dog and you know where you're going!

Good for a short walk, and the dog can run around freely. Doesn't get too busy. Fairly flat in most areas. It can be muddy at times. -
