This old Golf Course has been turned into a walking area and is mainly used by dog walkers. There is lots of grass and open space for them to run around. There is also a shallow river with places where dogs can easily access and some woodland for shade on a hot day. There is loads of photos here

Have visited this area twice, nice circular main path to follow or can divert off in other directions on the grass. Plenty of space and areas of shade. Found river today and Alfie had several paddles and drinks to cool off. Cafe open for refreshments for the humans! -

We have walked this a couple of times. The river is pleasant, but parking can be difficult at weekends when there is football on. It’s not the most scenic walks, with power lines and background noise from the road, but there’s good space to throw a ball and remains of some old paths. There’s also a little cafe with outside seating. -
