A great off lead walk through the country park with a dog friendly beach all year round. There are many different routes to take and maps to give you lots of ideas of routes to take. Plenty of places for a swim too!!

Just a note about this lovely place to walk dogs. It is a known adder spot especially around the perimeter, so best to take special care especially in March when they wake up from hibernation, and also in late summer when they can be basking in the sun and are prone to biting if woken suddenly. Same is true in many parts of Essex including Danbury Park and Tiptree Health, Bradwell Sea Wall etc. Bites are rare but when they occur they can be fatal or at the very least extremely painful for the dog. My daughter is a vet so hope this helps. -

We love coming to walk here, but when we visited last week, the car parking charges were up to £1.50 per hour. -

Amazing place. Fields and beach areas, watch out for the cliffs though. The whole Island is fabulous -
