About this walk

Turn right in to the park and follow the footpath straight along the river Thames.

Follow this footpath all the way to the end of hurst park where you come out by the rowing club. Keep going up the toe path until you reach Hampton court bridge.

If you want to continue the walk (it would otherwise be about 3 miles) then head to the bridge and cross over the road. (You can either walk through the free parts of Hampton court gardens (Henry VIIIs palace) or continue on the toe path which goes to Kingston and could then come back either through home park or bushy pakr)

Otherwise turn back towards the park. Instea of following the path back veer to the left and walk up that side of hurst park away from the river.

There's a kids play area and ice cream van on sunny days.

What a surprise to see a Buhund! I am a Bu owner but never met another before and while googling walks near our new area there one is! I hope to bump into you in Hurst Park one day!

Lovely scenic place to walk, maybe not 100% suitable for a reactive or anxious dog as the path gets quite narrow in places which makes it difficult to pass easily and the off lead areas are close to the path which makes it harder to coax a reactive dog past BUT when it's not so busy, it makes for a pleasant walk! Plenty of free parking and on occasions an ice cream van to boot!
