About this walk
Circular walk around the National Trust site at Pepperbox Hill.
You can keep if very easy and just walk along the top of the ridge in a straight line and back, or take the circular route down the side of the hill and back up the other side (runs parallel with the A36).Distance = 0.9 milesDuration = ~20-25 minutes (@3mph)Elevation = 345-465ft AMSL (variation 120ft)Footwear = you don't really need wellies but the grass routes can get soggy if rained recently, in summer shoes sufficientDog mud factor = muddy paws at worst in rainy timesWeather = suitable for all weather conditionsViews = great view to the south towards the Isle of Wight and to the northeast to the spire of Salisbury cathedralParking = free but there are no facilities
