Sneaton Forest and Falling Foss area is a wonderful walk, with the falls and river nearby. Great entry into water under bridge for dogs & children to go off an adventure.
Steep in areas and the descent down is Steep from car park.
Off lead however common courtesy to those who dog(s) are on lead for maybe a given reason. Must be in control of your dog(s).
added bonus of refreshments within Tea garden which allow behaved humans with their dog (on lead).
Open in good weather conditions.
