This is a lovely beach on the outskirts of the New Forest. There a a couple of ways into the Country Park, but the map marker leads you to the main car park. Parking charges are £2 for up to 2 hours and £5.00 for all day.
There is a great little playpark for kids and a cafe is within the beach/country park area.
Some parts of the beach, dogs are not allowed, but these are pretty clearly marked, so just pay attention to the signs.

A firm family favourite, mainly due to the excellent facilities. There are a few areas where you need to keep the dog on lead but with a huge open grass areas, some wooded areas and long shingle beach there are plenty of places to walk. there is also a great view acorss to the Isle of Wight. It can get very busy in summer but is worth a visit anytime of the year.
