About this walk
This short, 2 mile walk takes you in a loop through woods, over the Beaulieu River (a stream at this point) and back to a good picnic spot. It can be easily extended into a longer loop by continuing across the road.

2 years agoIt's a great place for walkies, particularly beyond the footbridge and up an incline to where a fabulous and huge open space, quaintly named 'Gurnetfields Furzeybrake' (GF) appears before your eyes. Look out for the monument about halfway along GF, a few yards to the north of the main path.
a month agoVery nice walk. Saturday morning - not too many people. Dog was happy. We did venture to the side rather than go as the trail went and had to jump a small river, but definitely worth it. Very fun walk!
