This walk is located off Beaulieu Rd on the right if you're coming from Southampton, and is tucked away through a small gathering of trees. Much like most New Forest walks, there is a small driveway leading up to a circular car park, which is not particularly large. You can head off down the path (an obvious route) and it will take you to a small bridge over a stream. The stream is lovely for the dogs to have a play in. Once you come through the forest area it opens out onto a huge area of heathland, and moderate sweeping hills. You could spend a long time at this place if you so desired!

This is a great walk but really very wet underfoot after the rain we've had recently. You can just wander and explore for hours but if you would rather you can follow the path up to the heath until you go up a small hill. Take the path to your right and follow for about 1/2 a mile. You'll see a track going back down to your right which takes you to the edge of the wooded area. If you go left and skirt round the edge of the trees you'll eventually find yourself back at the car park. Its about an hours walk and gives the dogs loads to explore. Just dont forget your wellies if theres been rain! -

Good walk. Does get very muddy when wet
