This small pull in car park for about five cars, provides a nice starting place for a walk across to the Nodes, there is some steep hills but there is alternative ways round. The walk around the valley is superb and there is a nice water hole stop for the dogs.
There is a variety of different walks you can do from this starting point with sandy tracks across the open heath, gravel tracks through pine trees or more winding tracks through the woodland.

Walked here many times. Nice little spot that leads to many other routes and can take you up to Dibden Inclosure which is another great walk. Link →

Great walk. Due to the time of year its quite muddy, in patches, when you leave the car park and for the first half mile or so. Once you're over that though it's lovely area to walk. Only been a couple of times but the varied terrain and routes make it a great place to go. Lexi loves it and we'll definitely be heading back for some more exploring. Easy to find and great walks, highly recommend this one. As a aside on the other air of the road about 250mtrs is Marchwood which is another smaller area for walks... -

Any recommendations of walks for a rescue dog who is currently antisocial? Needs exposure to dogs at a distance, but is VERY grumpy if disturbed by free roaming dogs who don't keep their distance? Working on socialising him but need to do it carefully.
