A lovely walk along a disused railway and straight grit pathway. It runs through woodland, under a few old railway bridges, and past some streams. It can be a little muddy in a few places, but it’s relatively flat. There can be cyclists or the occasional horse with rider, but there’s space for your dog to sniff around for exciting smells. There’s free parking, and Wickham has a few dog friendly tea-rooms/small restaurants. It can get a little busy at the weekend if you leave it too late, but it didn’t cause us any issues. There aren’t very many bins en-route, but I keep a little poo bag holder, so it wasn’t an issue. We had a pleasant walk, and Wickham is very quaint!
