The field of hope in Newchurch is a lovely walk. Park in the free car park in school close and the field of hope is accessible via the bottom corner of the car park. There is a lovely large grassed area where dogs can stretch their legs and then there are miles of fields and woodland to explore once you pass the grassed area. After your walk there is The Pointer Inn pub where you can get a beautiful Lunch, The pub is dog friendly indoors and has a large garden with water available for your dogs.

Followed the route given on here by pepperandmilo ..two setters certainly enjoyed their day we did come across some iron ore water , didn’t smell too bad then found fresh water as we walked along the railway path .as you leave the path and join the road turn left and go to the top of the hill ..ending up at the pointer Inn. At the bottom of the pub garden is a wooden style that take you back to the field and carpark we will be returning tomorrow .we walked approx 2 1/2 miles , -

Beautiful woodland walk, you can walk for miles and then finish back at the pointer inn for lunch
