Totally dog friendly beach..has a small beach cafe. It's a fisherman's cove so if not overcrowded but is a lovely spot for a walk. Need to park at the top and walk down past the lighthouse. You have to cross a few boulders to get to the sandy beach..but well worth the balancing act.
