This walk offers a selection of walks for you and your dog. There is a large grassy field where dogs can chase a ball or just run around, a pathed route along the River Clyde (approx 1.5 miles each way) and a route around a wooded area which includes some inclines.
The path along the river only goes so far then you will need to turn back at the point where the path bends off sharply to the left. However, there is a small sandy beach area at the beginning of this route when the tide is out.

I can highly recommend this area. You can walk through the woodland paths and carry on down beside the clyde. If you follow the path all the way past Mar Hall golf course you can then cut up and through the woods there (bringing you to the top of the Mar Hall drive way) walk back down the drive way and there is a large gate to your right. Go around that and through the Erskine hospital grounds and past the garden centre. Go left along the road (under the bridge) and it brings you back to Boden Boo / Erskine beach. -

Best dog walk I’ve ever been on. It has it all - space to throw a ball around, beaches with water to paddle, beautiful scenery along the Clyde & a lovely forest walk too. My Frug did 4miles of walking today, all off lead because every dog we came across was friendly and obedient (I know that this might have just been a good day!). Only downfall was the amount of poo bags going about although no poo on the paths. I guess it couldn’t of been perfect 🤷🏻♀️
