2400 acre National Nature Reserve. The park has open heathland, woodlands, seven lakes, wetlands, and marshes - each with its own rich variety of plants and wildlife, some rarely seen in the region. Cattle and wild ponies graze on the land. Children's play area is located at Town Gate.

There are alternative entrances located in Streetly and Boldmere. During summer months a small entrance fee is charged to enter Sutton Park.
