Please note the parking is not at Corsham Court but round at the designated car park on Lacock Road next to the football ground. Lovely walking, lots of friendly dogs but will be on lead when sheep are grazing.

Only issue I have with this walk is that there is no consistency to when sheep are in the fields. There are also holes in fence where a smaller dog could fit in ( as I found out!). If there are no sheep (my dog is reactive to livestock), we have a lovely walk. The lake has swans, ducks and other birds in and views are beautiful

Gorgeous lake. Beautiful grounds. Able to let my dog off the lead at times. Not very busy

Sorry, but whoever posted this walk did not do their homework. There is NO right of public access around the Corsham Lake, nor has there ever been. Just check an OS map. The Corsham Park is let agricultural land and the farmer who rents it asks walkers to respect this and only to walk in areas where there is a right of access. The south side of the lake has open access for the public - the north side does not.

Thanks for the tip about the lake access gotdogs2! No need to be passive agressive here! It’s still a lovely walk never-the-less and I would recommend it.

Corsham Court is great to be able to let your dog cool off on a hot day. You have free parking at lacock road carpark opposite the entrance. I would check corsham football clubs fixtures prior to visiting as it can get very busy at those times.
