About this walk

The road leads you up to a carpark which is £1 for 2 hours or £2 for the whole day. There are large open areas where dogs are run off lead. There are some landmarks with information you can read as you walk round. There are numerous routes here that can all be linked up with a little experience and repeat visits to the area. I'm still finding new places and I've been a fair few times now. Lots of areas for picnics also.

Some inclines can get steep but every area can be accessed by an alternative lesser incline, plenty of areas that require no incline at all.

Some great views on a sunny day and somewhere you could potentially spend the whole day.

Nice walk with lots of trails, can get busy with runners/joggers.

A large country park which has lakes, plus plenty of trails, some easier than others and some hilly, however the views are worth the effort. My dog loves it as there's enough space to run free and there is plenty of parking.
